- According to the latest UK House Price Index, average house prices saw an annual price rise of 9.6% (to January 2022)
- The latest Hometrack UK Cities House Price Index reported that Liverpool saw the greatest year-on-year house price growth at 10.3%. This was followed by Nottingham (9.5%), Manchester (9.2%) and Leicester (8.8%)
- The most recent Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) report observed that new buyer enquiries and agreed sales picked up in February, that new instructions are now broadly stable – albeit this follows a prolonged negative stretch, and that stock levels therefore remain low, contributing to continued strong house price growth.
